Release (Timbaland song)

"Release" is a song^[1] recorded by Timbaland and Justin Timberlake on the 2007 album Shock Value.

Though never officially released, the song charted at number ninety-one on the Billboard Hot 100 due to digital sales and radio airplay only. It was one of four choices in a poll on Timbaland's website to vote for the fifth single from the album. The other choices included "Scream", "Miscommunication" and "One and Only". It ended up with only 21% of the 5000+ votes.^{[note 1] [2]}

It is featured on the popular EA Sports Game Madden NFL 08.

The song was released digitally in Portugal.
